A Note from the Principals

Happy Monday!

CEF financial aid paperwork is being distributed for next school year. In order to qualify for ANY AMOUNT of reduced tuition, you must complete the CEF application and return it to the school office with a copy of your 2024 or 2025 taxes BEFORE Easter break, April 1, 2026.

Spring Picture Day is next Wednesday, 3/18- these photos are optional, and students may wear free dress (typically nice dresses or shirts with ties). They may take sibling photos as well if requested. Order forms went home last week, and extras are available in the school office.

The church will be hosting the American Crown Circus in the church parking lot from March 12-March 16th. We invite you all to come have a family day at the circus! One Free child's ticket with a paid adult using this link: https://tickets.americancrowncircus.com
PARKING WILL BE IMPACTED: Please be sure to arrive only during your pick-up window this week or you will need to drive around the block. There IN THE LOWER LOT this week. Please park on Hamlin Street this week only. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Students should wear Mass uniform on Thursday & Friday this week.

2nd Trimester report cards will be distributed on Friday, March 20.

Here are some Mid-year reminders:
-Birthday celebrations are only allowed a small treat at the end of the day with prior permission from your child's teacher. Parents should NOT provide lunch for the class. Students get free dress on their birthday!
-Uniforms are mandatory for all students. If your child is missing pieces or has outgrown items, please visit our uniform provider, Skobels.
- Every family should have received a letter last week with the current balance of your service hours and fundraising. Chocolate boxes are still available in the school office.

Happy Monday!

This week is the beginning of Lent- a season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Please join us for our Ash Wednesday Prayer Service tomorrow at 9:30am in the church. We will be having weekly Stations of the Cross every Thursday (starting this week) at 2pm in the church. Students should wear Mass uniform on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday this week.

Every saint has a story & while on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1524, Saint Angela Merici was struck with blindness. She proceeded to visit the sacred shrines, seeing them with her spirit. On the way back while praying before a crucifix, Angela’s sight was restored.

A Note from the Principals

Happy Tuesday!

We'll be having a school presentation from NED about resiliency in our lives tomorrow. We'll be selling yoyos at lunch time for the next week. Please see the attached flyer.

Sunday is the beginning of Catholic Schools Week- where we celebrate Catholic School Education! Please join us for Mass on Sunday at 9am followed by a pancake breakfast to sponsor our choir. See the flyer below for our fun activities.

Lice notice: We have been made aware of a case of head lice in our school community; please check your child’s hair this evening and treat promptly if lice or nits are found. For clear, reliable guidance on identification and treatment, please visit the CDC’s resource on head lice: https://www.cdc.gov/lice.

RE-ENROLLMENT: Please log in to your FACTS Family Portal and use the re-enrollment link to secure your child’s spot for next year. To be guaranteed a seat for the 2026–2027 school year, current families must complete re-enrollment by January 31. After that date, enrollment will be based on available space, and we cannot guarantee placement for your child. A $100 deposit per child (applied toward the registration fee) is required to complete the re-enrollment process.

If you plan to enroll a new sibling, please log in to your FACTS portal and click “Apply” to begin a new application.

Social media promises connection but often delivers comparison and insecurity. Especially for girls, it fuels anxiety and self-doubt.
Try this: Delay social media until at least high school. In the meantime, help your child connect in real life — clubs, sports, church, or service.

Every saint has a story & Saint Fabian was a Roman layman who came into the city from his farm one day as clergy and people were preparing to elect a new pope. Eusebius, a Church historian, says a dove flew in and settled on the head of Fabian. This sign united the votes of clergy and laity, and he was chosen unanimously.

Every saint has a story & Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys established a school for Indian girls in Montreal. At the age of 69, she walked from Montreal to Quebec in response to the bishop’s request to establish a community of her sisters in that city.

A Note from the Principals

Happy New Year!!

I hope that 2026 brings many positive surprises and new experiences for you and your family.

School starts on Wednesday, January 7th.

Uniforms: Now is a great time to refresh those uniforms & order whatever may be missing. Students must wear ties and cardigans/vests to mass every Friday. https://skobels.com/collections/st-jane-frances-de-chantal-school

PARKING: The church is finished repaving the lower lot. THANK YOU so much for your flexibility and patience during the construction. I know it was inconvenient. We are happy to be back to our regular drop-off and pick-up routines. Please remember to tell anyone picking up or dropping off these reminders:
-All families (with few exceptions for neighborhood families) should enter through Victory Blvd. for pickup and drop off.
-Please do NOT walk in through the Hamlin Gate.
-Please drive SLOWLY. There are children everywhere.
-Please stick to your colored pickup times. We kindly ask that you remain parked until the gates open so we can avoid lines to the street.
