A Note from the Principal

Good morning!

Thank you to 5th grade and the choir for hosting our family mass on Sunday. Fr. Santi and I would like to invite all families to the 11am mass every Sunday :)

For Thanksgiving, we will be having a whole-school lunch. Instead of charging for it, we'd like to collect Thanksgiving food items for Pan de Vida! Please see the attached flyer and bring in your food donations before November 20th. Thank you for your generosity.

We will be setting up an ofrenda for Dia de los Muertos. If you would like to contribute a photo of a deceased loved one, please make sure your child's name is on the back of the photo/frame and send it in by Thursday. (Please don't send in original copies of loved photos)

Remember to be here on Friday for a special 8am All Saint's Day mass with Bishop Albert. Also, please join us for Fr. Santi's installation mass at 1pm on Sunday, November 3.

A Note from the Principal

Good morning!

Go Dodgers! We are so proud of our Boys in Blue for making it to the WORLD SERIES this year! Students may wear a Dodger shirt & school bottoms any day there is a game, starting this Friday. Go Blue!

Make up Picture day is Tomorrow (Tuesday). If your student missed our first picture day OR if you didn't like the photos and would like them to re-take them, please come in mass attire tomorrow. (They may bring their superhero outfit to change into after taking the photo)

There will be a room parent & Trunk-or-Treat volunteer meeting on Thursday morning at 7:30am in the cafeteria. Please join us!

Please join us for St. Jane Frances Children's mass every Sunday at 11am!

Just a reminder to drive slowly and cautiously through our parking lot and when in our Hamlin St. neighborhood.

Please join us in supporting our church renovations by participating in the Envelope Challenge! Please see the flyer below. (Every $30 spent will count as one service hour for this school year!)

As we prepare for our special All Saints Day Mass on November 1 at 8am, celebrated by Bishop Albert Bahhuth, we will have a Procession of Saints before mass! You can view and purchase items from the wishlist using the following link: Saint Costume Wishlist $30 spent =1 service hour. Please forward your purchase confirmation to the office and/or make sure your package has your name on the gift receipt to receive your credit. Your generosity will help make this celebration truly special for our school community.

Preschool: Snowman Themed Attire
TK: Snowflake Themed Attire
K Red: Gingerbread Themed Attire
K Blue: All white outfit for girls, Cookie themed attire for boys
1st Blue: Blue formal attire with "Frosty the Snowman" paper hat
1st Red: Red formal attire with reindeer antlers
2nd Grade (both classes): Green formal attire with red santa hats
3rd Grade Blue: Blue sweaters and white/light colored pants and "snow miser" paper hat
3rd Grade Red: Red sweaters with brown pants and "heat miser" paper hat
4th-8th Grade: Formal Holiday Wear

It's Respect Life Month & we're collecting food donations for our church food pantry, Pan de Vida. Please bring a box of cereal or canned food to your classroom teacher. Thank you for your donations!

We are in need of Halloween donations of candy and small toys to pass out during out trunk or treat. If you can, please donate a bag of peanut-free candy or small toys to the school office for service hours.

Our after-school soccer class on Fridays is at risk of being cancelled due to low enrollment. PLEASE consider signing up for the October/November sessions with Coach Niko:

A Note from the Principal

Good morning!

Our Jog-a-Thon "Bounce-a-Thon" was a HUGE success! Thank you to each an every parent who came to volunteer or just to cheer & to everyone who collected donations for our school! We raised $27,295.00 in donations and $4,765 with our shirt sale for a total of $32,060!! This exceeded our goal of $30,000! Yay! The profits from this fundraiser will go toward upgrading school facilities. (It will take up to two weeks to see service hours and donations reflected in schoolspeak. Thank you for your patience)

The church needs volunteers for Fr. Antonio's farewell mass and dinner. If you are looking for evening or weekend hours- this event is for you! Please sign up on schoolspeak if you're interested.

This year is our school accreditation visit. All schools must go through a process to renew their accreditation and it's our turn :) Our in-person visit will be in February 2025. Saint of the Day 10/14
Every saint has a story & Blessed Carlo Acunis was diagnosed with leukemia & offered his sufferings to God for the intentions of the sitting pope—Benedict XVI—and the entire Church. His longtime desire to visit as many sites of Eucharistic miracles as possible was cut short by his illness. Carlo died in 2006 and was beatified in 2020.

A Note from the Principal

Good morning!

October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Here is a great video from Bishop Baron to show you how to pray the rosary. Need a rosary? Come to the office and we can give you one!

October is also Respect Life month. We will celebrate and learn how we can respect all of God's life on earth this month. We will be collecting food for our church's food pantry, Pan de Vida. They provide food security to families in our St. Jane Frances community weekly. If you are able, please consider donating boxes of cereal or canned food this month!

Halloween is right around the corner! Please keep our costume rules in mind when shopping this year (see below). We are planning our yearly trunk-or-treat with a pumpkin carving & costume contest! Our flyer for Halloween activities is attached and volunteer sign ups are open on schoolspeak. Please join us for this fun day (Halloween day will be a 12:30 dismissal).

We are HALF WAY to our Jog-a-Thon fundraising goal! Our "Bounce-a-Thon" is sure to be one of the best days of the school year! Be sure to register:
