Good evening parents and guardians. This is Mrs. Benson with a few important announcements.
Wednesday we will have a very special event sponsored by our 8th grade. On their own the students came up with a Fun Run to support Pan de Vida. To take part students may bring in $5 worth of non-perishable food or donate $5 towards the cause. As the students came up with this on their own, your support would be most appreciated!
If you have not completed our survey online please do so. Paper copies will be going home soon if you would prefer that method. We need your input to make our school great!
Please continue bringing in items for Santa’s Workshop. If you would like to volunteer to wrap gifts at the workshop, there will be sign ups outside the classrooms beginning tomorrow. Please note that there will only be five sign ups per grade so sign up early.
We have many items in our lost and found. The lost and found bin is in the front office. If your student has lost something please check. Please remember to label your student’s belongings. Thank you.
There will be no school on Friday, December 9 as the teachers will be at an in-service. Please plan ahead.
Our Christmas show will take place on Thursday, December 15 at 6:30 p.m. December 15 will also be a minimum day with dismissal at 12:40. There will be no after school care on Thursday, December 15 so students may get home to prepare for the show. Please make sure you plan ahead. Thank you!

The trimester ends December 8. Please make sure you are tracking your child’s academic progress.
If you have not received your invitation to sign up for Scrip Sense please contact the front office as this means we do not have your email on file. This is a great way to do your holiday shopping and help our school at the same time!
If you have not turned in your child’s Emergency Card please do so immediately. If an emergency should occur we have no way of getting a hold of you or those who can care for your child in your absence. I cannot stress the importance of the Emergency Card enough.
One last reminder, if you plan on having your child bring party invitations to school to pass out please make sure you are inviting the entire class. If you are not, please do not have your child pass out invitations at school. This will prevent many hurt feelings and misunderstandings. Thank you!
As always, have a great week and God bless!
