Good evening parents and guardians this is Mrs. Benson with your weekly update for Monday, October 31 to Friday, November 4.
Halloween is here. We will have our Costume parade on Monday, October 31 at 11:30 a.m. Our Halloween Festival will begin around 12:15 p.m. and continue until 2 p.m. After our costume parade students will be sent back to their classrooms and parents or guardians may check them out there. Students will not be checked out anywhere but from the classroom. Please be aware that students must be supervised by parents during the Halloween festival. Students whose parents or guardians cannot be present will be placed in our after school care program and parents or guardians will be charged. Our After School Care staff will supervise the students at the festival. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and nachos will be available for sale at the festival.
Please be conscious of the fact that we are a Catholic School when choosing your child’s costume. Students are not allowed to wear masks, carry pretend weapons etc. Please leave these at home. Costumes are not to be overly frightening or gory. Costumes must be modest and cover the majority of the body. No clown costumes will be allowed this year. Students may wear make-up. All students must be wearing laced closed toed shoes. Boots are not allowed. Students in grades K-8 may wear their costumes to school. PS and PK students are asked to bring their costumes in a bag labeled with the student’s name. Students choosing not to wear a costume may wear appropriate free dress.
