School Blast Monday, June 12 to Friday, June 16
Good evening parents and guardians. This is Mrs. Benson with your weekly update for Monday, June 12 to Friday, June 16.
This week marks the last week for our 8th graders. We have many activities planned for their graduation week.
On Monday, June 12 the 8th graders will have their retreat here on campus. On Tuesday, June 13 they will head off to Universal Studios. On Wednesday, June 14 it is movie day, Thursday, June 15 is Magic Mountain, and we culminate the week with Baccalaureate Mass at 8 a.m. in the church and graduation at 5:30 p.m. in the church on Friday, June 16. We wish our 8th graders the best!
Everyone is invited to attend the Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation.
Registration is due June 30 for all continuing students. If you have not registered your child by June 30 you risk losing your child’s spot. We have waiting lists forming for many classes. On July 1, we will begin taking students off of the waiting lists and moving them in to classes. If you have not paid your registration, your child will lose their spot in their classroom.
Hot lunch is no longer being served. Please make sure you send your child to school with a lunch every day. Please send lunches in the morning as the office staff does not have time to deliver lunches. Please refrain from bringing your children hot lunch or fast food. Thank you.
Our last day of school will be Friday, June 23. June 23 will be a minimum day and there will be no afterschool care. Please plan accordingly.
Due to lack of interest, our summer camp program has been cancelled.
As many of you know I will be leaving the school at the end of this school year to accept a promotion to Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools. Please make sure that you take care of your balances before I leave on June 30 so that things will be organized for the new principal.
Thank you, have a great week, and God bless.
