Good evening parents and guardians. This is Mrs. Benson with your weekly update for Monday, November 14 to Friday, November 18.
Our Book Fair has been extended one day. The Book Fair will be open Monday, November 14 at lunch recess and after school.
Vision screening for all students will be completed on Tuesday, November 15.
Wednesday, November 16 will be picture retake day. If you were not satisfied with your child’s picture this is the day to have it retaken. Any students who were absent on our original picture day will need to have their picture taken as well. Please note student who do not have their picture taken will not be in the class section of our yearbook. Students having their pictures taken must be in their full Mass dress uniform.
On Wednesday, November 16 we will serve pumpkin pie and milk to those students who pre-ordered at lunch time. Just a reminder, you must pre-order if you would like your child to have pumpkin pie and milk.
On Tuesday, November 15 we will have our first PTO Meeting of the year. We will be discussing the budget, the ScripSense program, and carnival. Please send a representative from your family. The meeting will begin at 7 pm in the gym.
Our weekly school Mass will take place on Friday, November 18 at 8 am in the church. Immediately following we will have our Student of the Month Assembly for Fairness and Religion. I hope to see many of you at Mass and at our assembly.
Our November Family Mass will take place on Sunday, November 20 at 9 a.m. in the church. There will be no pancake breakfast this month. Please note that Thanksgiving vacation will be one week this year. Vacation will begin on Monday, November 21 and conclude on Friday, November 25. Classes will resume on Monday, November 28.
On another note, please make sure your child is in school every day and is on time every day. Excessive absences and tardies affect your child’s education. Attendance is crucial for academic growth. If your child is absent we will need a written excuse note when they return even if you have called the office.
Thank you, have a great week, and God bless!
