Good evening parents and guardians. This is Mrs. Benson with your weekly update for Monday, May 29 to Friday, June 2.
There will be no school on Monday, May 29 in honor of Memorial Day. Please take a moment to pray for those who gave their lives for our freedom.
Jog-A-Thon forms are due Wednesday, May 31. Please do your best to get family and friends to pledge. This is a fundraiser and we need your help to make it a success!
There will be a Free Dress Day on Wednesday, May 31. Students may participate in appropriate free dress for a $3 fee.
Water Wars is coming! Flyers will go home soon regarding both Water Wars and a pre-sale hot dog lunch. Please check your child’s backpack for the flyers.
We are changing up our Athletic Banquet this year. This year’s banquet will honor our athletes as well as be a fundraiser the whole school can take part in! Our Athletic Banquet will take place at Sky Zone! All students are invited to attend. Our school receives a percentage of admission for everyone who comes to Sky Zone on Thursday, June 1. Flyers went home describing the event.
Please make sure you register your students before June 30. We need to know numbers before July so we can order books and supplies for the 2017-18 school year. Any student not registered for the 2017-18 school year by June 30 jeopardizes their spot in the classroom. Waiting lists are forming for most classes, especially grades 6 to 8. On June 30 we will begin taking students from our waiting lists. If your student is not registered by June 30, they will lose their spot in their class.
Our Student Art Show opens Thursday, June 1. Please stop by the Art Room to enjoy the beauty your children have created.
If you have not turned in your Volunteer Hour Card to get credit for carnival, please do so as soon as possible. Completed Volunteer Hour Cards are due June 9. You will be charged for any incomplete hours.
The School Office will close at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31 and Friday, June 2.
We will have our weekly school Mass on Friday, June 2 at 8 a.m. in the Church. All are invited to attend.
The last day of school is fast approaching! Please make sure you are current on tuition and fees and are checking your child’s grades. Our last day of school will be Friday, June 23. Our first day of school for the 2017-18 school year will be Tuesday, August 23.
Thank you, have a great week, and God bless.
