We are off to a great start to September, and I want to thank you for your continued partnership and support. Here are a few important updates and reminders as we head into another busy week at SJF! ❤️ Parent Volunteers Needed! One of the things that makes SJF so special is the incredible involvement of our families. We have many exciting events coming up and would love your help! One way to show support for all of our teachers is to volunteer to do photo copies on Fridays. If you are interested, please sign up below & the teachers will love you forever ;) SJF Parent Volunteer Sign-Ups Jog-a-thon and Trunk-or-Treat volunteer sign-ups will be coming soon! These are two of our biggest community events, and we will need lots of helping hands to make them a success! □ New After-School Pick-Up Procedure Beginning immediately, we are implementing a new pick-up procedure for all students attending Armenian classes or any other after-school class or sport. For the safety of our students, all parents and guardians must remain in the Victory parking lot at pick-up time. At 4:00 p.m., teachers will walk the students outside and release them directly to their parent or guardian. Please do not enter the building, ring the doorbell, or ask students to open the door for you. This procedure is important to ensure that we know which adults are picking up students and that students are safely released to their families. It also helps prevent unknown individuals from entering the school campus. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to maintain a safe and secure environment for all of our students. □ Nut-Free School Reminder As we welcome several new students with severe nut allergies, I want to remind all families that SJF is a nut-free school. Please do not send foods or snacks containing nuts or nut products to school. This includes items that contain peanuts, tree nuts, or nut-based ingredients. Your attention to this important safety measure helps us protect our students and ensure that everyone can safely participate in our school day. Thank you for taking a moment to check labels and help us keep our campus safe for all. □ Look Ahead Monday, September 21 • Faculty Retreat — No School Friday, September 25 • September Student of the Month Wednesday, September 30 • Progress Reports Please remember that our STAR Testing Window 1 continues through September 22. As always, please continue to check the school calendar for updates and additional details. Have a wonderful week! Many Blessings!
