​Welcome to 5th Grade!
Discover a dynamic learning environment where curiosity meets knowledge.In this class, you'll engage with all subjects through interactive lessons, hands- on activities , and collaborative projects. Our goal is to foster critical thinking , creativity, and a deep understanding of key concepts  and skills. Join us and take the next step in your educational journey!

Mathematics
Objective: Develop problem-solving skills and enhance mathematical understanding.
Number Sense: Understand and work with large numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Operations: Master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Algebra: Introduction to basic algebraic concepts, including patterns and relationships.
Geometry: Explore shapes, angles, and measurement.
Data Analysis: Interpret and represent data using graphs and charts.

Language Arts
Objective: Improve reading comprehension, writing skills, and communication.
Reading: Enhance comprehension skills through various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
Writing: Develop narrative, expository, and persuasive writing skills.
Grammar: Master parts of speech, sentence structure, and punctuation.
Vocabulary: Expand vocabulary through reading and word study.
Listening and Speaking: Strengthen listening skills and oral communication.

Religion
Objective: Foster spiritual growth and understanding of religious principles.
Faith Formation: Learn about key aspects of the faith, including prayers, sacraments, and scriptures.
Moral Education: Understand and practice moral values and ethics.
Community: Participate in community service and religious activities.
Reflection: Encourage personal reflection and spiritual growth.

Science
Objective: Develop scientific inquiry skills and understanding of natural phenomena.
Earth Science: Study the Earth's layers, weather, and ecosystems, solar system
Life Science: Explore plant and animal biology, human body systems, and habitats.
Physical Science: Understand basic principles of physics and chemistry, including matter, energy, and forces.
Scientific Method: Conduct experiments and develop inquiry skills.

Social Studies
Objective: Gain knowledge of history, geography, and cultural understanding.
History: Learn about significant historical events and figures of the United States
Geography: Study maps, regions, and physical features of the world.
Civics: Understand government structures, civic responsibilities, and citizenship.
Economics: Introduction to basic economic principles and financial literacy.
Cultural Studies: Explore different cultures and their contributions to society.
