My name is Mrs. Redden. I am the Pre-school teacher. I have been working at St. Jane Frances de Chantal for 23 years. I started in the Pre- kinder program, where I supported the Pre-K teacher for 14 years. I moved to the Pre-school program and have been here for 11 years.
In Preschool, we will focus on a variety of academic and social skills. Preschool is an important year for each child’s social emotional growth. We learn many of our concepts through song. This allows for engaging and effective learning. We also participate in morning meetings, which helps to support each child’s speech, communication and listening skills. Fine and gross motor development are also crucial in the early years, and the students are guided and supported in their development of fine and gross motor skills. All of the skills and concepts we learn are done in a fun and spiritually guided atmosphere, teaching religion by example, and giving thanks for our many blessings.
