A Note from the Principals

Happy Catholic Schools Week SJF Families,

Catholic Schools Week started yesterday. It is a Nation-Wide celebration of all of our Catholic Schools. I want to express a huge thank you to our wonderful school families for choosing to be part of our vibrant community! Your decision to join us adds an extra sprinkle of joy to our daily adventures in learning and growing together. We're thrilled to have you on this journey, and your presence truly makes our school shine brighter.

We have exceeded our chocolate sale goal!! We sold a total of 450 boxes so our profit was $12,735! Thank you to everyone who participated in this fundraiser. The profits of this fundraiser will go toward campus repairs and a new roof this summer. Mr. Salazar, Mrs. Zivari & I are looking forward to getting pied in the face ;)

PLEASE remember to re-register before Thursday (Feb. 1). We will be freezing enrollment in several classes this year and will not have room in the classes if your child is not enrolled before this Thursday! Every grade level is at full capacity so if you do not re-register before February 1, 2024, your child will be placed on a waiting list for the new school year & is not guaranteed a spot. A $100 deposit (toward the registration fee) per child is required to hold your spot.

Middle school will be having one more pizza sale this Friday to purchase books for their classroom libraries.

There is no school on Monday 2/5 due to a teacher professional development day.

A Note from the Principals

Good morning SJF Families,

It is that time of year for my State of the School presentation. I know taking time to attend a meeting can be hard so I have recorded it this year in order to make sure everyone has a chance to access it. Take some time to watch it if you are interested in the state of the school, our plans for the new school year, our school internet policy, and to better understand how our school works: YOUTUBE LINK

Catholic Schools Week starts this Sunday. It is a Nation-Wide celebration of all of our Catholic Schools. We hope you will join us in celebrating the community and education that Catholic Schools provide!

Choir will be hosting a Pancake breakfast on Sunday 1/28 right after our all-school mass in order to raise money for their choir competition in the spring. Please come by to support our Choir and to start Catholic Schools' Week off strong!

SJF Talent Show on Sunday, 1/28 at 11am in the Gym.

We have exceeded our chocolate sale goal!! We received an additional 75 boxes today. Once they are gone, that's it! Be sure to stop by to pick up a box today. All chocolate sale money is due on Monday 1/22 in order to qualify for prizes. If it is not turned in by then, any outstanding amount will be charged to your facts.

Unfortunately we did not have enough interest in our TaeKwonDo class this month and it was cancelled :(
Master Adam will offer it one more time in March. Please be sure to sign up in order to keep these awesome classes going at SJF!

Happy Birthday to Ms. Aguilera in our afterschool program (1/28). May God bless you always.

Happy Tuesday. We are excited to announce our survey for the 2023-24 school year. This is our comprehensive survey we do once a year to show to our donors and stakeholders. This week is the 2nd STAR test of the school year. This is a 15 minute standardized test that is completed online. Please make sure your child gets enough sleep this week and eats a good breakfast :)

Middle School is having a pizza sale this Friday and next Friday (1/26) to raise money to purchase new classroom library books. Please turn in your preorder slips by Thursday!

Good morning SJF Families,

Happy New Year ! I hope you all had a rejuvenating break with your families. We are so excited and blessed to begin planning for the new school year already!

2024-25 School year: You should receive an email from FACTS today for re-enrollment for next year. You will need to re-enroll each child individually and pay a $100 deposit toward your registration for next year to ensure you have a spot in next year's class. Every grade level is at full capacity so if you do not re-register before February 1, 2024, your child will be placed on a waiting list for the new school year & is not guaranteed a spot.

Saint of the Day 12/18
Every saint has a story & at age 29, Blessed Anthony Grassi was struck by lightning while praying in the church of the Holy House at Loreto. He was carried paralyzed from the church, expecting to die. When Anthony recovered in a few days he realized that he had been cured of acute indigestion.
