A Note from the Principals

Good morning!

There will be no school on Friday 5/3 due to a teacher work day for our WASC visit next year.

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Please look for an email from your room parents.

We are looking for a volunteer to come help a gala vendor on Saturday afternoon (5/4) at 12:00 prep some deserts. It will be at school on Saturday at noon. If you are interested in getting service hours, please call the school office.

We'd like to invite all of our SJF moms to mass on Friday, May 10th for a special day celebrating our Mothers! Mass starts at 8am.

EPI School Supply ordering is back by popular demand!
Order your school supplies for the 2023-24 school year now and you'll only need to purchase a backpack and lunchbox. CLICK HERE to order your supplies.
*This is only a convenience option for families who would like to purchase supplies this way.

Yearbooks are available for pre-order until THIS Wednesday May 1, 2024. This is the only way to guarantee you'll get a yearbook. We will have only a limited amount of extra copies available in June.

Did you Know?
Sometimes rumors can spread and we have no way of clearing them up...
Here is what I'd like parents to know:
The tuition families pay only pays for the teachers' salaries and benefits. We don't receive any funding from the church or the government. The way we pay for all of our other bills and improvements is through fundraising. If we didn't do any fundraising, we would have to raise tuition almost $2,000 per student! Your support of events like the Gala, Jog-a-Thon, and candy sale mean a great deal to our school.

A Note from the Principals

Good morning!

This week we will be celebrating Kite Day & Earth Day! This is a fun time at SJF where we learn to fly kites and celebrate spring. If your child would like to participate, please send in a pre-built kite. The ones from the dollar store work the best!

Armenian Genocide remembrance day is on Wednesday. We will be having a short presentation on Thursday morning for the students. Please join us!

Student of the Month celebrating the character pillar of Citizenship will be on Friday after mass.

Join us for Family Mass on Sunday at 9am!

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Here's 3 more ways we prevent child abuse at St. Jane Frances School:

We enforce school policies that protect children.
We are a no-device school in order to limit access to potential online predators.
All teachers are mandatory reporters & have been trained to identify and report cases of abuse.

Did you know that the best substitute teacher is the classroom aide? Aides are in the classroom daily with the teacher. They know all of the students and the classroom routines and rules better than anyone else. All employees are Virus trained, fingerprinted, and qualified to be in the classroom. As always, I check on the classrooms daily and provide help when needed.

A Note from the Principals

Good morning!

Tomorrow is Spring Photo Day
-This is an OPTIONAL photo day
-Only students who have ordered online or those with an order form will take photos
-Families may opt to take individual or sibling photos
-If you have any questions, you may text the studio at (413) 287-1234
-Students may wear nice spring attire. Please be sure to stick to the dress code and wear tennis shoes- not fancy shoes (no tank tops or short skirts please)
If you would like to volunteer from 8am-12pm , please sign up on Schoolspeak under ""Service Hours Signups"

Thursday is our YES DAY! from the read-a-thon. 7th grade has decided it will be free dress for the whole school :)

Virtus classes are our main way of involving and educating our adults about keeping children safe while they are in our care.
Our school rules may seem arbitrary sometimes but they are ALL created to keeps children safe at school.
ALL of our employees are fingerprinted and background checked BEFORE beginning at SJF.
