A Note from the Principals

Happy last week of school! This week is a regular week with 12:30 dismissal on Friday. Report cards and the STAR results will be distributed on Friday. There will be NO after school care on Friday. The summer office hours will be 9am to 1pm Monday-Thursday. Due to the construction this summer, email will be the best way to get ahold of us.

We are excited to start our new school year and are anticipating a fully in-person schedule. Our first day of school will be Tuesday, August 17th. Congratulations to our raffle winners last week! We had students from every grade level pick names from the raffle buckets. Here are the lucky winners:

If your student borrowed an iPad from the school, please return it to the school office with the case and charger. If the iPad screen is cracked, the replacement charge will be $50. If you have lost or damaged the device beyond repair please let Mrs. Giron know.

Yearbooks were distributed last week. We have about 10 extra copies of the softcover yearbook in the school office for $30 each if you would still like one.

Thank you so much for all of the box donations! I think we are ok on boxes now. Thank you so much for your donations!

Summer camp is filling up! Please see the flyer below. If you are interested in camp please see Ms. D in the school office: [email protected]

Preschool, Kindergarten, First , Second, and Third grades are closed for enrollment and we have started a waitlist! TK and Fourth grades are nearly full as well. If you know anyone interested in enrolling, tell them to call the office ASAP. Also, if you have not completed enrollment for next year, please do so or you may end up on a waiting list!

Call your pediatrician or healthcare provider if you are concerned about your child. If you don't have a health care provider, dial 2-1-1 and we'll connect you to one.

You can also visit DMH online at dmh.lacounty.gov/resources for resources related to back to-school and a number of other mental health topics.

A Note from the Principals

I hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend. As we gear up for the new school year, we have some announcements. Schools are dynamic places with things changing all of the time. Next year we will be saying goodbye to Mr. Ranney and Mr. Marinoff. Mr. Ranney will be taking on his own school, St. Joseph School in La Puente. Mr. Marinoff will continue teaching but a little closer to home. We wish them both luck in their new positions!

Our amazing leadership team has hired Mrs. Karen Taylor, a teacher at St. Catherine School, to take on second grade next year. Our incoming second grade families will hear more about their awesome new teacher soon. Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Taylor to our school.
