A Note from the Principals

Good morning!

We are coming tot he end of this amazing school year. I encourage all of you to help us end the school year strong by making sure:
-Students are here on time (7:45am)
-There is no missing work

Tues.June 4- 5pm Parent Workshop: "Making the Most of Summer Break" on zoom
PTO Mtg 5:30pm
Armenian Play Performance 6:30pm
Fri. June 7- end of 3rd trimester, 8th grade graduation 10am
Tues. June 11- TK Graduation
Wed. June 12- Last day of School, 12:30 dismissal (no after school care)
School resumes Wednesday, August 14, 2024

We are SO proud of our choir who was awarded FIRST PLACE in their first competition with Music in the Parks! They have been working very hard this year and this award is proof of that. Congratulations choir and Mrs. Esparza!

A Note from the Principals

Good morning!
Thank you to everyone who went out of their way to make a teacher's day last week. We all felt the love and a BIG thank you to Mrs. Wilson for helping to coordinate the fun activities and teacher lunches last week.

This week is our spring book fair. it will be open before and after school today- Thursday in the cafeteria. Please feel fee to swing by!

This week is our final STAR testing. Please make sure your student gets a good night's sleep and a good breakfast so they are prepared to do their best!

Our choir is competing in their first competition this Saturday! We wish them good luck!

Saint of the Day 5/13
Every saint has a story & between May 13 and October 13, 1917, three Portuguese children received apparitions of Our Lady at Cova da Iria near Fatima, a city 110 miles north of Lisbon. Mary asked the children to pray the rosary for world peace, for the end of World War I, for sinners, and for the conversion of Russia.

A Note from the Principals

Good morning!
We commemorate Jesus Christ’s ascension into heaven this Thursday by celebrating Ascension Day, which occurs on the Thursday, which is 40 (or 39) days after Easter.
We'd like to invite all of our SJF moms to mass on Friday, May 10th for a special day celebrating our Mothers! Mass starts at 8am.
We will have mass on Thursday AND Friday this week.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Gala on Saturday or supported us from home. We made over $8,000 in cash donations!

This week we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. A BIG thank you to Mrs. Wilson for helping to coordinate the fun activities and teacher lunches this week.

Happy birthday to Mr. Cuevas & Fr. Antonio (Tuesday) and Ms. Lerchenmuller (Thursday). May God bless you always!

Did you Know?
Sometimes rumors can spread and we have no way of clearing them up...
Here is what I'd like parents to know:
Some parents have expressed concern about the teacher dress code. In general, teachers dress business casual. I do allow jeans days for the faculty to promote comfort, practicality, and a positive work environment, contributing to a more effective and enjoyable teaching experience for both educators and students.

Saint of the Day 4/29
Every saint has a story & Saint Rose was born at Viterbo in Italy, the daughter of a doctor. Following the death of her fiancé she entered a convent, but soon returned home to care for her newly widowed mother. Meanwhile, Rose invited the women of the neighborhood to recite the rosary in her home, forming a sort of sodality with them.
