If you have any questions, please talk to your teacher or Mrs. Giron.

CONGRATULATIONS to our students who had their First Communion on Friday. We are so proud of you all!

Our Monster Dash was a HUGE success!! Thank you to everyone for sharing and donating. Our donation portal will be open until Thursday at 10pm. We will be announcing prizes next Monday. Shirts are still available in the school office for $20. They can be used as PE shirts when we return :)

Halloween is almost here & we are excited to celebrate it with you in a different way this year.
PS, TK, K: Parents can drop off & park along the outside spots to view the costume parade. Parents may NOT get out of their cars and must leave after the parade at 8am.

1st-8th grades: 9am-11am Parents may drive through the Victory gate. Students may get out and take a photo at our costume judging area. They will get back in their cars and drive up to the other tables to pick up a halloween activity & a treat bag. (the gates will close at 11am).
Pumpkin Carving party for the Jog-a-thon winners will begin at 11am. Tables will be set up outside. Parents must wait off campus. Pickup will be 12:15pm. I will send out the list of invitees later this week.
*If you would like to donate candy for service hours, please drop it off in the school office by Wednesday (no nuts, please).

Reminder: Next Monday (Nov. 2) There will be NO SCHOOL (in person or on Zoom) due to a faculty professional development.

Many Blessings!
Mrs. Giron & Mr. Ranney

THE DIGITAL PARENT
Tips and Tricks for Parenting in the 21st Century

RESOURCES:

Parents and caregivers should be on the lookout for signs of anxiety and depression in children. This can take different forms – being withdrawn, acting out, disobeying, being tearful. Please reach out if you need support:

  1. Call the LA County Department of Mental Health (DMH) 24/7 Help Line at (800) 854-7771. The call is free AND confidential.

  2. Call your pediatrician or healthcare provider if you are concerned about your child. If you don't have a health care provider, dial 2-1-1 and we'll connect you to one.

You can also visit DMH online at dmh.lacounty.gov/resources for resources related to back to-school and a number of other mental health topics.

Thank you for continuing to pay your tuition on time & allowing us to keep everyone on staff so far!
If you have any questions or would like to pay your tuition via a credit or debit card please call (612) 548-3320 or click the link below:

Saint of the Day (10/26)
Every Saint has a story & as spiritual director to Saint Teresa, Saint Peter of Alcantara encouraged her in promoting the Carmelite reform. His preaching brought many people to religious life, especially to the Secular Franciscan Order, the friars, and the Poor Clares. Read more below:

Our Mission: St. Jane Frances de Chantal School guides our students and their families to experience the harmony between academic learning, social growth, and Catholic faith formation.
