View this email in your browser A Note from the Principal THANK YOU a thousand times again for all of the birthday surprises! I cannot believe that 196 students kept all of the birthday plans a surprise! I felt the love and had a beautiful and relaxing birthday/ Thanksgiving week. I hope all of you had a restful week as well! The teachers and I had a great day of professional development today. We worked with other schools in LA about teaching text comprehension in the most efficient way possible.  This Friday we will begin setting up the book fair. If you are interested in volunteering, we have many hours available on Friday, Sunday and all next week. Please sign up on Schoolspeak.  Also, Mrs. Holcomb has requested parent volunteers to help her set up and prep art materials. If you are interested, please email her at MHolcomb@StJaneFrancesSchool.org. The hours available would be any time Monday-Wednesday.
