Thank you to all of the families that have re-registered for the new school year! Tomorrow morning we will be honoring all those who have re-registered so far. Make sure to see our fun "Moving Up" school busses around campus in the next few weeks! It is in the next few months where we put together the budget for the next school year. I am really hoping to be able to hire a foreign-language teacher and re-open the preschool next year so be sure to re-enroll soon!
Financial Aid applications are now available for the 2019-2020 school year. If you require tuition assistance next year YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CATHOLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION (CEF) APPLICATION BY THE DEADLINE ON THE PAPERWORK.If the CEF application is not completed, you will NOT be eligible for financial aid in the new school year. Please let me know if you have any questions or need help filling out the paperwork. I would be more than happy to sit down with you!
THANK YOU to everyone who has referred a friend to our school. In the last 2 weeks I have spoken to 8 families who want to come to SJF because one of our current families has referred them! Remember- If you refer a family & they enroll, you will both receive $100 off of tuition!
We are beginning to plan for our May carnival! Please see the attached info sheet for an overview of carnival procedures. In the month of February we will be collecting the $50 food donation per family. This counts as one of your carnival hours! Please pay the $50 in cash or check to your oldest child's teacher. They will have an envelope with a sign off sheet on it starting on Tuesday (2/5) morning.
Re-registration is officially open for the 2019-2020 school year. You should've received an email from Tads.com with a link to re-register. If you haven't please let me know. If you have and would like assistance registering please come see me. I would LOVE to help you. It only takes about 5 minutes!
Please re-register as soon as possible so we can begin planning for the new school year. THANK YOU!
Also, we want to wish Ms. Rygiel a very happy birthday (Sat. 2/16) with prayers for her to get well soon!
THE DIGITAL PARENT Tips and Tricks for Parenting in the 21st Century
This tip is from Family Online Safety Institute:
"Set time limits for Internet and cell phone use. Set guidelines with respect to Internet and cell phone use and learn the warning signs of too much online time: skipping activities, meals and homework; weight loss or gain; falling grades. If you have younger children, set boundaries now. If you have older children, incorporate new rules with new devices. One family used this bedtime ritual: hugs, kisses, devices off and Smartphones handed over. "
