View this email in your browser A Note from the Principal I hope everyone had a nice long 4-day weekend! On Friday, the teachers and I attended another Onward Readers workshop through the archdiocese to help us plan better reading instruction. We are always learning...just like our students! On Wednesday 2/22 the Church parking lot on Victory has been rented and will be closed. Please enter on Hamlin St. to pick-up or drop-off students. The school lot will be open. REMINDERS: -$50 for the Carnival is due to your oldest child's teacher before Feb. 28. -Please see the office for Financial Aid paperwork for next school year. It is due by March 30th. Media should work for you and within your family values and parenting style. When used thoughtfully and appropriately, media can enhance daily life. But when used inappropriately or without thought, media can displace many important activities such as face-to-face interaction, family-time, outdoor-play, exercise, unplugged downtime and sleep." Mrs. Giron says: Being clear about expectations for children is important. Having set rules about how and when to use devices makes for a more peaceful home. Extra Service Hour Opportunities *Ice cream donations (gallons of vanilla and chocolate ice cream) *Ice cream cone donations (we need approx. 170 cones) *Volunteers on Friday 2/22 @ 12pm for our Chocolate Sale Ice cream party (about 5 parents) *Volunteer to wash donated uniforms (approx. 3 bags) *Donations of tall vigil candles for a fundraiser (Click Here for Link)  THANK YOU!!
