View this email in your browser A Note from the Principals Good morning SJF Families, Mr. Salazar, Mrs. Zivari and I would like to say THANK YOU for the surprise appreciation gifts last week. We are so blessed to be able to serve this community and we truly appreciate your thoughtfulness!  We are excited to announce our first annual SJF Spartan Gala! Please save the date for May 4th, 2024!! More information to come in the following months. We are currently looking for sponsors and high-value auction items for this event. Click here for Auction Sponsor details.  I have had a couple reports of parents arguing with each other or with teachers. Please remember that we are a Catholic community and have all agreed to abide by our Christian Code of Conduct while conducting school business. We are all examples to our children. Please treat each other with respect at all times. Here is the policy if you'd like to read it again: CHRISTIAN CODE OF CONDUCT No school on Friday 11/10- Veteran's Day 11/13-11/17 Parent teacher conferences 12:30 dismissal on Wednesday 11/15-Friday 11/17 No School 11/20-11/24- Happy Thanksgiving! Coaching: We are in search for volunteers who are interested in becoming CYO certified coaches for boys and girls basketball we only have until this FRIDAY 11/10 to register or we will not be able to offer these sports this year. If interested, please reach out to Coach Minnock [email protected]   Happy Birthday to Mrs. Lyons 11/7, our 2nd grade aide, may God bless her and her work here at SJF.  Reminders from last week: We are looking for more students in grades 3-8 who are interested in Altar Serving this year. This would be a commitment to serve mass during our Friday masses and at least one Sunday a month. Please let Mrs. Giron know if your child is interested in Altar Serving. Santa's Workshopwill be back this year and we are looking for donations. We are looking for items that would make good Christmas gifts. All donations will be given service hours ($30/hour).
