View this email in your browser A Note from the Principals Good morning SJF Families, We'll be having a cereal drive for Pan de Vida, our church's food pantry. Please bring in a box of cereal to donate this week! All donations will go to families in need in our community.  Blessing of the Animals will be next Wednesday 10/4 during morning assembly at 7:45am. Students are encouraged to bring a pet, a photo, a drawing, or a stuffed animal to have blessed. ALL live pets MUST go home at the end of the prayer service. It's Jog-a-Thon Time! Jog-a-Thon Volunteer signup is now open on Schoolspeak!  The PTO has organized Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Friday afternoon. Please join us on Friday at 12:00 to learn more about these countries! Please welcome our new security guard, Mr. Lezama, and our new Middle School Aide, Mrs. Johnson, to our school! We'd like to wish Mr. Ventura (9/30) a very Happy Birthday!  Reminders from last week: Uniforms: We know Dennis uniform is very backed up. We have put together an Amazon list with acceptable uniforms. This list includes, pants, shorts, skirts, jumpers, ties, & mass shirts (it does NOT include PE uniform, polos, or mass sweaters). They are celebrating by holding a celebratory mass with the Archbishop on October 22nd at 11am. Everyone is invited! They will also be holding a special raffle on that day for cash prizes. The BEST part is that 100% of the profits from the raffle are dedicated to our gym renovations!! Raffle tickets are available in the school or church office for $5 (If you buy 4 tickets, we will credit you 1 service hour!).
