COVID Protocols:
Thank you all for being respectful as you enter our campus by wearing your masks. This year has gotten off to a great start & I wanted to update you on our COVID Protocols. As always, our COVID compliance documents and plans can be found on the main page of our website at www.StJaneFrancesSchool.org 1. 100% healthy policy. PLEASE help us all out by only sending your students to school if they are 100% healthy. If they have a soar throat, a cough, or a fever PLEASE keep them home. The teachers will be very understanding and grateful. 2. Drop off Health Questions Before you bring your child to school, ask: -Does my child have a fever of over 100.4? -Does my child have shortness of breath? -Does my child have a cough? -Has my child been exposed to anyone with COVID in the last 14 days? IF THE ANSWER TO ANY OF THESE IS YES, YOU MUST KEEP THEM HOME 3. COVID Screenings. All staff members who are not vaccinated will be required to take weekly COVID tests. These tests will be provided on campus and are available to all staff members. 4. Quarantine Protocol. Should a positive case of COVID be identified on campus, anyone who is unvaccinated and in close contact with that person will be asked to quarantine. Close contact is defined as "within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more during a 24 hour period." If your child is asked to quarantine, their teachers will make sure no learning is lost. They may return to campus within 7 days of exposure IF they have a negative test after the 5th day and have no symptoms. If they are not tested, they must stay home for 14 days. Vaccinated personnel and students do not need to quarantine unless they are showing symptoms. Siblings of exposed students do not need to quarantine unless their sibling tests positive. If you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to give me a call. Have a great rest of your week, Mrs. Giron Comments are closed.
