Dear St. Jane Frances de Chantal School Community,
 
Welcome to the 2017-2018 new school year!
 
My name is Mrs. Bev Reyes, and I am delighted to be your new school principal. I have spent over a decade in Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, specifically in the San Fernando Valley. Previously, I served as a junior high teacher and leadership team member at St. Finbar in Burbank and taught in various capacities at St. Patrick in North Hollywood. One of my heart’s joys is to learn - so much so that I have received a Master of Arts for Elementary Education at Loyola Marymount University and graduated this summer with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership through the University of Notre Dame’s Remick Leadership Program.
 
To get our year started off right, here are a few reminders:

• The office will be open 8/14-8/18 from 8 AM - 2 PM.
• Supply Drop Off is Friday, 8/18 from 2:30-3:30 PM. You can drop off your supplies and meet your child’s teacher. Please label your supplies beforehand.
• The first day of school is Tuesday, August 22. After-school begins that afternoon. Make sure you give you and your child enough time to arrive on time for the start of an awesome school year.
• Back to School Night is Thursday, August 24 at 6:30 PM, location to be announced.
• The first All School Mass starts Friday, August 25.

I look forward to supporting the students as they discover and grow in their God-given talents.
